Don’t be distracted by what some call a Zombie Apocalypse. Instead, there is a storm that is upon us now and it is slowly but steadily intensifying. What I believe that this storm will lead to served as the catalyst and inspiration for my writing of The Wayfarers fiction trilogy. As I have watched events unfold over the last several years and as I see the the world in 2012 on the brink of economic collapse and great war; my belief in that slowly but steadily growing pre-tribulation supernatural “Storm” is only being reinforced.
From my Facebook page Wayfaring Through the Storm:
What is the “Storm?” – While weather is an important aspect of the Storm, it is only one aspect. There is a spiritual battle taking place and it will be manifested through the current government, through terror and war, seismic and geological events, weather, and through organizations and individuals. This is not the Tribulation, but many will think that it is…
Until Barack Obama was elected POTUS, I would never have believed as I do now that the elective process in the United States and likely around the world is manipulated by wealthy elites who wield great power and immeasurable influence through – but not limited to – the World Bank, IMF, Federal Reserve, Wall Street, the news media, and the entertainment industry.
Barry Soetoro a.k.a. Barack Obama came virtually out of nowhere and quickly rose to his position today via the efforts of the elites who exploited his arrogance, charismatic personality and “Hope and Change” sloganeering. A gullible and easily manipulated American populace were convinced by an entertainment and news media compliant to and operated by the elites that they should elect him as the first black president.
Like Martin Luther King Jr., I prefer to judge a man by the content of his character and not the color of his skin; and in that I was able to quickly discern the dirth of the aforementioned character in Soetoro/Obama.
The sheeple of the United States and the world are seeking a natural man to solve the growing crisis; in essence run damage control during the Storm and then sit in power after they are convinced that the Storm has ended. The sheeple need to see this man on their televisions and on the internet because they lack in their spirit the faith to believe that the answer cannot be seen today through natural eyes – as He who is the answer exists in the Supernatural and in the heart.
The sheeple pursued Obama as the answer and millions will again; while others will seek may Mitt Romney as the one who can fix it all. The elite powers that be will again manipulate the system through money and corruption to select and install the next natural man to suit their own needs and not those of the voter. Concurrently, the elites undermine America and Europe through economic fascism; eroding national sovereignty so as to diminish each to make way for the one world economy and government that they believe they will control and be even more prospered in.
But what the elites don’t consider is that with this new world order will come a single religion and a new object of worship…
The elites will help facilitate the storm and use it to their own end; but truly the storm is supernatural. The elites themselves are merely pawns of Satan as it is he who will indwell the next natural man who is known in the Bible as the Son of Perdition and culturally as the Anti-Christ. He isn’t Romney or Obama; although the captivation with and the magnetism of Obama – who appeared to be the “One” who would solve all of our problems – conditioned the world to worship a natural man…
…In reality, the coming “natural man” will have his levers pulled supernaturally.
The free world is on the verge of economic collapse; and war involving Israel, America, Syria, and Iran will likely finish that collapse. There will be all manner of lawlessness through rioting, looting, pillaging and plundering. There will be hunger as grocery shelves are left bare and only the so-called “preppers” will have enough to last for a time and the armaments to protect themselves and their families. Expect Martial Law on the streets and limited internet, cellphone, and television.
The streets of American urban areas will be battle zones, and the desperadoes there will travel out to the suburbs to seek spoil; and many in those formerly safe suburbs will hope that the same Martial Law that restricts their free movement will slow those packs of urban wolves as well…
The world will cry out for a leader to repair the storm damage and to bring peace and prosperity. That man will rise into power out of the old Roman empire and those left behind who were conditioned by Obama will embrace and worship this new man. And this next natural man will tilt back his head and look smugly toward the sky while considering himself to be God.
Still, I can’t help but believe that somewhere during the storm, when the supernatural blizzard roars into the natural and the elites attempt to tame the snowicane and use it to their advantage as the new natural man prepares to put them out of business and take power, the Risen King of the Supernatural who bled as a natural man and died on the cross will come and rescue those who did not lose hope or displace their faith.
Before the next natural man begins his reign of death, the Risen King of the Supernatural will take home to that most glorious and eternal storm shelter those who worshiped Him in truth.
The Risen King is the simple answer to be pursued.
Feelings, nothing more than feelings is the opening line to the sentimental soft-rock tearjerker Feelings released by one hit wonder Morris Albert in 1975. The 45 RPM single was a smash hit, reaching #6 on the Billboard Top 40 charts that year.
Many of us are having “feelings” in the first month of 2012 – but they are not the amorous feelings of love that are lyrically lamented in Morris’ tune that became a popular high school prom theme song and pop music standard.
There are feelings of dropping supernatural barometric pressure. A high level of sensitivity is not required to feel the vibration of upheaval and change. If you watch the world today, you need not be a prophet like Isaiah or Ezekiel to see the rising of the angry tide, gathering storm clouds, spreading red-orange flame, and rolling black smoke. This is not the natural manifestation of a moody, menstrual Gaia Earth Mother or Al Gore global warming gobbledygook. What is being felt by those who have eyes to see is not worldly and natural but “Supernatural” – much as the D.C. Talk album and single of that name from 1998.
Don’t believe in rosy outcomes if Iran talks to leaders of the western world regarding their nuclear program. Sure, it feels good to the western world to have these types of conversations, but it is all in vain. It is after all nothing more than feelings.
Republicans, Conservatives, and Tea Party members feel passion and excitement about the 2012 Presidential election: “Romney is the man!” “Gingrich is the man!” “Santorum will save us!” are the battle cries, with the expletives deleted by this writer. Without a doubt, this passion and excitement feels good, but it too is nothing more than feelings. The world is morphing into a singular system, and America will be drawn in despite the will of the people who stand against it. And when it comes to feelings, the election has already been decided and the candidate who will best accelerate – through whatever means necessary – America’s sluggish move to global government will be president in 2013; whether it is a Republican or Democrat.
Love your children and prepare them for hardship; knowing that the challenge is to preserve their innocence for as long as possible. We who have feelings have felt this since the dawn of the Twenty-First Century a mere 11 years ago; the intensified feelings of upheaval and change that are being manifested in the natural world more frequently.
Love the Lord God with all your mind, soul, and strength. Love your spouses and your children and die for them if it’s required to save their lives. Love your neighbors and share with them your provisions if it becomes necessary.
We’ve been on a slow train for a number of years; and that ride has been a blessing and a luxury. The sensation that we’re moving quickly now is More Than a Feeling.
As this writer tracks the visitor statistics to this Walk The Towpath blog, web-surfers searching keyword phrases relating to 2012 are the most frequent visitors, with those searching Tim Tebow and John 3:16 closing in a tight second. If he leads the team past the New England Patriots, perhaps writings relating to the Denver Broncos quarterback will surpass all things 2012-related for the #1 spot? Let us hope!
There is considerable end of the world conjecture regarding the year 2012, and that has been chronicled through these blogs; hence so many visitors who have searched that keyword and those phrases related to it. Again, I will say with absolute certainty that the world will not cease to exist this year; however the world as it is known and loved by millions today may indeed come to an end.
Hell will not freeze over but seemingly hellish conditions may visit the First World, making many rethink what rates on popular culture’s list of First World problems. In 2012, a pampered and privileged First World culture and society may learn what problems, dilemmas, and hardships truly are.
Indeed, some – especially in America – may wish that the world would end as year 2012 is dragged on through the winter into to spring and summer. The likelihood of varying levels of financial collapse is high. Unemployment could likely rise as well as food and fuel prices. If major war breaks out in the Middle East sooner rather than later – and “sooner” may be the probable scenario – extreme hardship could visit the United States and Europe, putting First World problems on par with those of the Third World.
Third World problems such as hunger, poverty, lack, and unrest will increase in the First World as economic conditions continue to deteriorate and a move toward the One World Economy gains speed and intensity. With this will come diminished freedom and potential wide-scale rioting and looting by a populace pushed across the proverbial line of demarcation. Implementation of Martial Law is a likely scenario. Will all of this have happened by December 31, 2012? I can’t help but think that it’s a 50-50 proposition as I write today.
It’s advisable to be prepared, and by and large as a nation, we are not. We are weak and pacified; having lost the metaphorical eye of the tiger. Our ability to use technology and electronic communication keeps us on the cutting edge, but spiritually we are on the cutting room floor. Most of us have mastered the social media, but our ability to interact with live, in-the-flesh human beings has regressed to a level that would make a chimpanzee look expert. Technology has encouraged us to become lazy, tactless, and boorish; to wit, we no longer know how to compose formal letters but instead communicate through text messages and e-mails with acronyms such as BFF, WTF, LMAO, LOL, ad infinitum, ad nauseum.
I am not here to condemn but only to warn and to attempt to inspire. Don’t allow yourself to be put into a position of wishing the world would end in 2012. This is the year that the First World could begin to be absorbed into the Third World. What is perhaps most disconcerting is that those currently in the Third World have become hardened, while First World to Third World neophytes will be trampled underfoot not unlike Black Friday morning at your local Wal-Mart.
An unnamed source said the military deployment of US anti-missile ships and accompanying support personnel will occur in January and later this spring, Global Research reported.
Commander of the US Third Air Force based in Germany Lt.-Gen Frank Gorenc said it is not just an “exercise,” but a “deployment,” The Jerusalem Post said.
Washington and Tel Aviv have planned to hold what they call the largest-ever joint military exercise this spring.
During this first week of January 2012, a variety of news outlets have reported that U.S. troops are being deployed to or are already in Israel, in preparation for war against Iran. This deployment begs the question: are American troops being sent to aid in the protection of Israel – our ally and the apple of God’s eye – or is this American presence to protect Saudi Arabia and the free flow of oil from Iranian assault?
The flickering embers of the Arab Spring and frequent Palestinian missile attacks on Israel will be drawn into into the raging inferno of full-out war. America will be affected directly; having been blessed that this major military conflict has to this day been forestalled. But, for how much longer?
Gasoline prices are rising partly on speculation that Iran could at least temporarily close the Strait of Hormuz, and Oil prices could rise $50.00 or more per barrel should that speculated act become reality. If, and perhaps more accurately when Iran, Israel, and Israel’s neighbors engage in war that will in some manner involve the U.S., all bets will be off as to how much oil will be available to the U.S. and China and what its cost would be. Indeed, America is competing with the Chinese, whose demand for that precious black gold continues to be strong.
Is America spiritually ready for what is coming? In this writer’s humble opinion, no she is not. In the Wayfarers fiction book trilogy, I have written a story that takes place during and after the feces hits the fan. While it is mere fiction, as these days and times of early 2012 continue to follow a turbulent path there may be a degree of “faction” revealed. I am blessed that I was able to write this story.
America must defend Israel and likewise she must inspire her citizens to again seek the face of God. Begrudgingly, we have been placed on a journey that is precarious and perilous while at the same time beautifully blessed. American men will need to be dutiful fathers and dedicated husbands. Fathers, love your children and be faithful to your wives. As America and the world changes, American men will again be called upon to be as the humble heroes of the World War Two generation.
As I write, there is no intent to capitalize on the 2012 end of the world hype, as it is patently false. Instead, I will once again say with sincerity that in this perilous year no matter how hard it is or how hard it gets, don’t ever lose hope.
