Found in the Lostfullness – by Katherine Kachel (c) 2010

To live here is to realize that we have what we seek.
He has paved a street of sheer glory amongst the golden brown trees. You were not created for the wreck that the brokenness of your heart has made. You were made for the straight path, narrow in every way, but a narrowness so that you would become straight in Him. The fog wasn’t created to make us distraught but to bring us closer to the joyfulness of surrender. The fog ahead was to create in us a picture of a Hand that holds the future together. The fog is to remind us that the closer we are is the further we become. The path was created for our destiny, the trees to hold us into our purpose, and our identity to be found in the lostfullnes of Him. The signs give us a peace amongst our heart to show us that we are destined for more.
It’s a place to heal; there is no turning back for this road was predestined to us. The side seems more comforting then the road ahead but we must keep going for the purpose of our life awaits us. As the journey gets parched of weariness there will be a canal of water to quench our every thirst. He holds us in with a whisper, and creates in us a crisper place for His glory to dwell. There are many strangers with familiar faces we see along the road and maybe one is to be a father, maybe another to share in our story of this path, or another to be their friend and lead them to the Father we have found. To show them the colors of beauty He penetrated in us to our glorious original intent. When the darkness comes out of its hiding it will shape our character as we develop into the picture of His intent. He knows each step before we take it and destined the result of each walk we have to be of sweet goodness.
Surrender is to realize that there will be someone to hold our hand as we take that first leap. Do not fear what is ahead – His love dismisses all of your fears. Each step was apart of His glorious plan, one to not harm, but to free. At a bridal wedding as the husband leads His wife in song and dance – So He leads us as He dances and sings a melody for us to move our heart in.
He Is with us, Yes, He has never left us. His gentle warm hand embraces you – “keep going on little one,” He says in a whisper.
